Etisalat Partners Total to Deploy 95 Sales Centres

Etisalat, a GSM operator, has partnered Total Nigeria Petroleum to establish retail Sales and service experience Centres in all Total filling stations nationwide.

The partnership deal was signed in Lagos recently between the Chairman of Etisalat Nigeria, Mr. Hakeem Bello-Osagie, and a team of Total Nigeria staff, led by its Managing Director, Mr.

Francois Boussagol. The partnership involves the setting up of 95 outdoor Sales Centres in Total service stations nationwide in the first phase of the project, where Etisalat will run service operations, in addition to telecoms sites.

It is expected that the partnership would lead to joint initiatives that would increase the market reach, ensure enhanced customer service and provide subscribers with easy access to Etisalat's array of innovative products and services. According to Bello-Osagie,

"Etisalat is recognised as being the most innovative and fastest growing GSM operator in the Nigerian market and we have been consistent in our over three years of operation in the country.

"We are proud to be working in strategic partnership with Total in executing this agreement which is in line with our ambition to extend our innovative products services to all frontiers of the country and ensure unparalleled customer experience", he added.

Commenting on the partnership, Boussagol said, "In ensuring customers satisfaction, we have a commitment towards constant innovation and creativity in our retail outlets which is demonstrated in the strategic partnership with Etisalat for the desired mutual brand affinity.

Total Nigeria has the core of its marketing strategy, an abiding commitment to excellence in customer service delivery." On March 6, 2012, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Etisalat Nigeria and Total Nigeria Plc to establish retail Sales outlets and experience Centres within Total stations.

The signing of that MoU represents yet another milestone for Etisalat in its ongoing quest to offer high quality products and services to its existing and potential subscribers within the country. "It also signifies a concrete step in fostering a closer working relationship between our two organisations,"

Bello-Osagie said, adding that both companies were only completing the final stage of the partnership process by the signing of the Master Lease Agreement (MLA), which will formalise the working relationship.
