Manchester United 'super-sub' Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted he dreams of managing his Old club one day.

The former-United goalscorer is currently managing Molde in his native Norway, and has proven himself to be as successful in the dugout as he was on the pitch.

Solskjaer cut his teeth as a reserve team coach at United, before he was promoted by Sir Alex Ferguson to reserve team manager. His work at Old Trafford handed him his first big break when his former club, Molde, came calling to offer Solskjaer a chance in the hot-seat.

And the Norwegian international promptly guided Mode to the 2011 league title, and has his side top of the table with just two games remaining this season. But while he's happy in Norway for now, Solskjaer admitted it's his dream to one day manage Manchester United, and follow in Sir Alex Ferguson's footsteps.

"It's a dream but let's take just one step at a time. "I want to become a manager in England. "I'm not naive enough to say I can do that job but in life you should have big dreams and big goals.

"At the moment I've just started and it's been two years more or less in Norway. So the time will come. I've spoken to clubs and explained it's a bit early as I want to learn and don't want to jump too big a bridge at the start."

Solskjaer was part of Ferguson's hugely successful team of the late 90's and early 2000's. The Norwegian won six Premier League titles, three FA Cups and scored the winning goal in the 1999 Champions League final across an 11-year career at Old Trafford.
